Credit scoring
Credit scoring refers to the set of techniques (statistical models, business rules, machine learning) used to assign a risk score to a credit application. It cross-references variables such as income, expenses, history, and bank flows to estimate repayment capacity. High-quality credit scoring must be predictive, explainable (every decision must be justifiable), and compliant with non-discrimination and data protection regulations.
