Our mission, our commitments, our evidence
A Société à Mission (French mission-driven company) since 2023 and B Corp certified. Everything that underpins and verifies our commitments, in one place.

Our purpose
Meelo is a French fintech, a Société à Mission and B Corp certified, committed to tackling over-indebtedness and promoting economic inclusion.
“Meelo fights over-indebtedness and promotes economic inclusion through technology that is responsible, transparent and in the service of fair decisions.”
To pursue it, we have set ourselves three statutory objectives:
A mission under independent oversight
Written into our articles of association
Meelo's purpose and statutory objectives are written into its articles of association (article 2.2, updated on 11 June 2026).
Verified every year
Meelo has been a Société à Mission since June 2023: every year, an Independent Third-Party Body (OTI) verifies how our mission is being carried out, and its report is published before the end of February.
Overseen by a mission committee
A mission committee, separate from the management bodies, monitors how our mission is being carried out.
Driven by senior management
Under our articles of association, our strategic committee is committed to taking into account the social, societal and environmental consequences of its decisions for all our stakeholders. CSR is reviewed every two months by the Executive Committee, led by our CSR sponsor. Social, environmental and ethical impact issues are built into strategic decisions.
Dialogue with our stakeholders
- Regular discussions with our clients and partners on the impact of our solutions
- Consultation with employees and the works council
- Materiality analysis to identify our priority issues with our stakeholders
- Dialogue with our suppliers under our Supplier Charter
- Dialogue with the B Corp community and our non-profit partners
A concrete example
These mechanisms help shape our product and strategic decisions.
For example, discussions with the works council led to the introduction of a leased bike fleet for commuting (May 2026).
Our impact commitments
Not greenwashing. A rigorous external audit (B Corp).
A purpose written into our articles of association (Société à Mission).
A public score. Reassessment every 3 years.

Human rights, climate, diversity and inclusion

Climate
We measured our carbon footprint for the first time in 2025 (116 tCO2e). Our climate action plan, approved by the Executive Committee, sets a target of −20% emissions per employee by 2030 and provides in particular for 100% electric company cars in 2027 and, for flights, Europe only unless approved by the Executive Committee. We will report on our progress every year.
Diversity & inclusion
Meelo is committed to offering everyone the same opportunities, combating all forms of discrimination and making inclusion a reality, within our team as well as in our solutions. This commitment guides our recruitment, our management practices and our clients' access to finance. It applies to all our activities, our partners and our suppliers, has been approved by the Executive Committee and is driven by a JEDI action plan monitored by the Executive Committee.
Collective action & skills-based volunteering
Our collective action is aligned with our mission: tackling over-indebtedness and promoting economic inclusion.
Skills-based volunteering
Meelo puts its teams' skills at the service of organisations working on:
Preventing over-indebtedness
Financial education
Banking inclusion
Priority is given to skills-based volunteering that is directly linked to our expertise.
Indicators tracked
Number of volunteering hours completed
Projects supported
Deliverables produced
Indirect beneficiaries
Collective action and local roots
We also act collectively, beyond our own scope: Meelo is an active member of the B Corp Hauts-de-France community, where we share our CSR practices and draw inspiration from those of other committed companies. We also contribute to industry knowledge, for example through the Baromètre du Cash et de la Fraude (Cash and Fraud Barometer) produced with the DFCG.
Bureaux du Cœur · In 2025, we opened our Lille offices to people in precarious circumstances, working with the non-profit Bureaux du Cœur.
