Factur-X

Factur-X is a hybrid electronic invoice format, widely used in France. The file is an ordinary PDF that a person can read, with the invoice data embedded inside it as XML that software can process automatically. This dual layer eases the move to electronic invoicing: the document stays readable while meeting the structured requirements of the French reform.
