FranceConnect

FranceConnect is the French state digital identity scheme that lets people sign in to many public and private online services by reusing an account they already hold, such as the tax authority, the health insurance fund or La Poste. It simplifies administrative journeys while providing a level of assurance about the holder's identity. Using it assumes the person already has an account with a French identity provider. Other countries run their own digital identity schemes, and the European Union is preparing a common identity wallet.
