MRZ (Machine Readable Zone)

The MRZ (Machine Readable Zone) is the optical reading area of an identity document, consisting of the standardized lines of characters located at the bottom of a passport or ID card. It contains the document's key data and serves as an access key to establish an encrypted communication with the NFC chip during verification.
