PID (Person Identification Data)

PID (Person Identification Data) refers to a person's basic identity data, issued by a government authority and stored in the EUDI Wallet: surname, first name, date of birth, among others. It is the certified identity foundation that users can present to a company to prove who they are, without needing to undergo further document verification. PID is distinct from attribute attestations (EAA and QEAA).
