SIREN

SIREN is the unique 9-digit number assigned by INSEE to every French company. It identifies the legal entity as a whole and stays unchanged for the entire life of the business. It is the starting point for verifying a French company and retrieving its legal information and ultimate beneficial owners during a KYB check. It is a French-specific identifier: every country runs its own business register and its own company number, such as the company registration number in the United Kingdom.
