SIRET
SIRET is the 14-digit number that identifies a given establishment of a French company: the 9-digit SIREN followed by a 5-digit internal classification code. A company has a single SIREN but as many SIRET numbers as it has establishments. It pins down where the activity takes place, which helps verify an address and confirm that a site really exists. It changes when the establishment moves or closes, and it is specific to the French system.
