Age verification

Age verification involves proving that a user meets an age threshold (for example, 18 years old) to access a regulated service such as gambling or specific types of content. A simple checkbox has no evidentiary value: reliable verification relies on an identity document or a verified source. The European Digital Identity Wallet introduces selective disclosure, which will allow users to prove they are of age with a "yes or no" response without exposing their full identity.
