Batch

Batch processing consists of submitting a set of cases at once and retrieving the results as a group, instead of querying a service case by case in real time. It suits uses where the response does not need to be immediate: rechecking an existing portfolio, screening a supplier file, replaying a screening after a sanctions list update, or qualifying a database before a campaign. Its value lies in unit cost and volume capacity. Its limit is the delay, which makes it unsuitable for a decision to enter into a business relationship, where an API call is required.
