Internal control
Internal control covers the procedures, segregation of duties and checks an organisation puts in place to manage its risks: reliability of accounts, regulatory compliance (including anti money laundering), prevention of internal and external fraud. At onboarding it translates into documented and auditable KYC, KYB and payment checks. It rests on traceability: every control must be justifiable to an auditor or a supervisor.
